Jon Rahm WITB: The Masters

Jon Rahm has put on an unbelievable driving display at Augusta, continuing his strong performance off the tee in 2023. Rahm won his first event with Paradym in the bag, carding a final round 63 to capture The Sentry Tournament of Champions in early January. He followed that up with a win in his next event at The American Express, and a victory in February at the Genesis Open.

Paradym is off to an outstanding start this year, leading the PGA TOUR with 7 driver wins thus far in 2023 (8 if Rahm wins today), and the DP World Tour with 5 wins. It’s the most played driver family on the LPGA and Champions Tours this year too. Speaking of his driver early in the year, Rahm said, “The impact through the ball even when I mishit it is such a good feeling…I don’t know what they have done with it, but it feels amazing.”

Rahm has used a Chrome Soft X Golf Ball, Jaws Raw Wedges, and an Odyssey White Hot OG Rossie S Putter in each of his victories this year. Here’s a look at Jon’s full equipment setup:

How Rahm Hits A Draw At Augusta

Known for typically hitting a smooth cut with his driver, Jon is able to play a draw off the tee at Augusta, as he explains in our new video. Particularly, he sets the driver 4-5 inches behind the ball, giving his clubhead enough time to “catch up” at impact, all without having to change his feel throughout the swing. The shot shape was a huge help for him off of 13 today, when he laced a draw down the middle when he needed it.

Rahm’s Special Edition “The Ringer” Shoes

Rahm has been a TravisMathew staffer since the beginning of 2021, and this week he is wearing a special edition version of his Cuater “The Ringer” shoes (featured above). His Sunday scripting included a Custom Heating Up Polo, Open To Close Pants, and a Callaway Tour Authentic Pro Performance Hat.
