Team Callaway is looking to start 2024 with a big win in Hawaii, and players are already switching to our new Paradym Ai Smoke Drivers, Chrome Tour, and Chrome Tour X Golf Balls at The Sentry. Check out our biggest stories this weekend.

Chris Kirk WITB: The Sentry

Chris Kirk is looking to clinch his 6th career PGA TOUR win this afternoon at Kapalua, where he’s putting on an outstanding performance, led by his spectacular putting display with a new Odyssey Ai One Milled 6T CH Putter. Here’s a look at the Callaway and Odyssey gear in his bag:

  • Paradym Triple Diamond Driver (9°) – Fuji Ventus Blue 6TX Shaft
  • Apex Pro 4-iron – Project X LZ 125 Shaft
  • Apex CB Irons (5-9) – Project X LZ 125 Shafts
  • Jaws MD5 Wedges (46°, 50°) – True Temper Dynamic Gold S200 Shafts
  • Jaws Raw Wedges (60°) – True Temper Dynamic Gold S200 Shafts
  • Odyssey Ai One Milled 6T CH Putter

This is Kirk’s first week with his putter in the bag, and right now he’s 3rd in the field in Putts per GIR. His gamer features a 100% milled titanium insert, which was designed using Artificial Intelligence to create the unique contours on the back surface. These contours help to maintain ball speeds on off-center hits for better distance control.

ICYMI: Paradym Ai Smoke Going Into Play

Xander Schauffele, Adam Hadwin, Si Woo Kim, Emiliano Grillo, Erik van Rooyen, and a non-staffer are all gaming a Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond Driver this week at The Sentry. Our new Paradym Ai Smoke Driver Family, which officially launched on Wednesday, features an industry-first Ai Smart Face that promotes multiple sweet spots across the entire face.

This face design optimizes driver performance using swing dynamics from thousands of real golfers. These swing dynamics, or Swing Code, consist of swing speed, club delivery, and face orientation just prior to impact. This promotes optimal launch conditions and tight downrange dispersion. Four driver models are available in this lineup: MAX (suited for a wide range of players), MAX Fast (lightweight performance), MAX D (for enhanced shot shape correction), and Triple Diamond (for better players who want increased workability). They will all be available for pre-order on 1/12 and at retail on 1/26.

ICYMI: 7 Players Using New Callaway Balls

This week at The Sentry, 7 players are gaming our new golf balls for the event. Schauffele, van Rooyen, Akshay Bhatia, and Si Woo Kim are all using a new Chrome Tour Ball. Adam Svensson, Sam Burns, and Hadwin are all in a new Chrome Tour X.

Both golf balls officially launched on Wednesday, along with our all-new Chrome Soft. Chrome Tour is built for better players who want the best in distance and feel. Every detail has been optimized including a new core, inner mantle, outer mantle, and cover formulation. It’s engineered for outstanding performance with exceptional speed, consistent flight, incredible spin, and greenside control.

Chrome Tour X is for the best players who want speed and the ultimate control from their Tour Ball. We’ve engineered Chrome Tour X to provide outstanding distance, workability, and spin so you can experience your best performance from tee-to-green. Each of these golf balls are available at retail on 2/2.
