It’s a busy weekend for Team Callaway as Xander Schauffele is contending at the Wells Fargo Championship, Rose Zhang and Madelene Sagström went head-to-head on the LPGA Tour, and 16-year-old Blades Brown is playing the weekend on the PGA TOUR. Plus, Paradym Ai Smoke is #1 in the U.S. to start the year, and Odyssey is adding even more conversions on Tour. Check out our top stories so far today.
Rose Zhang earned her 2nd LPGA Tour win!
Rose Zhang put on one of the best performances we’ve seen on any Tour this year! The 20-year-old global superstar earned her 2ndLPGA Tour win earlier today with a full bag of Callaway clubs that included a Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond Driver, Paradym Ai Smoke Fairway Woods, Paradym Ai Smoke Hybrids, X Forged Star Irons, Jaws Raw Wedges, an Odyssey Ai-One Putter, and a Chrome Tour X Golf Ball.
Zhang birdied 4 of the last 5 holes to post a remarkable 24-under winning score to prevail over fellow Callaway Staffer Madelene Sagstrom. Even more impressive, both players completely separated themselves from the field and Madelene finished a full 13 strokes ahead of 3rd place at the event! Of course, Callaway was also the #1 Driver and Odyssey was the #1 Putter at the event.
Rose is already exceeding expectations after finishing the most dominant women’s collegiate career of all-time. She’s used a Chrome Tour X Golf Ball throughout the year and has commented how well it performs with ball speeds off the driver, shot-shaping, and control around the greens. Our Chrome Family is continuing to set the new gold standard in Tour performance, and it’s already helped us achieve our highest market share ever in the premium golf ball category. Paradym Ai Smoke is also going strong as the #1 Driver, Fairway Wood, and Iron model in U.S. Market Share for Q1 while Odyssey is the #1 Putter.
We know that Rose has many, many more to come.
