Jon Rahm wins on the PGA TOUR, Adri Arnaus wins on the European Tour and Callaway is winning equipments counts around the world. Here’s a rundown of our top stories today.
Jon Rahm WITB: Mexico Championship
Here’s what Jon Rahm has in the bag this week:
Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS Driver (10.5°) – Aldila Tour Green 75TX Shaft
Epic Speed Fairway Wood (15°) – Aldila Tour Green 85TX
Epic Speed Fairway Wood (18°) – Graphite Design Tour AD-DI 8X Shaft
Apex TCB Irons (4-PW) – Project X 6.5 Shafts
JAWS Forged Wedges (52°, 56°, 60°) – Project X 6.5 Shafts
Odyssey White Hot OG Rossie S Putter
A Chrome Soft X Ball
During our Rogue product launch event, Rahm said that there are certain numbers for launch angle (10-12 degrees) and spin (2200-2500 rpm) that he wants to see. He can “usually tell right away” if it’s right for him and if he can hit the shots he wants, which the Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS did for him.
At the end of Saturday, Jon was 2nd in the field in Strokes Gained: Off The Tee, and he averaged 339.3 yards per drive through the first three rounds. If he holds on today, it will be the second PGA TOUR win in a row for Rogue ST Drivers, after Xander Schauffele earned a team victory last week at the Zurich Classic.
Rahm’s New Wedgeducation
Rahm is one of the best short game players in the world, and we recently debuted a new Callaway Wedgeducation series with him. In this video, Jon explains the techniques that he uses on shots from the greenside rough. He also has tips for flop shots, the Tour spinner, and bunker shots.
