On August 24th, the Callaway Community Giving group (CG2) supported Pro Kids, First Tee – San Diego in Oceanside. Two Callaway volunteers were paired with two kids to play the course, which consisted of six holes ranging in length from 53 to 112 yards, with multiple tees for a full range of short game shots.
Kids received prizes for first and second-place teams as well as a closest-to-the-pin competition on one of the holes. The kids also received goody bags filled with Callaway items donated by various groups around the company, and each one was surprised at the end of the round with a new putter. A raffle also featured Ogio backpacks, Travis Mathew hats, and Callaway Performance Gear accessories. Thank you to all the people who helped donate items and volunteered!
The Pro Kids mission is to challenge underserved youth to excel in life by promoting character development, life-skills, and values through education and the game of golf.
